Look at all the Melamine!
Secondary to my piece which journeys into procurement planning and part of the reason why we do what we do, I went for a wander around Puzzlebox HQ. We’re lucky enough to be surrounded by public green space; but as much of it is wooded, this is also unfortunately a prime location for fly-tipping. So I’ve taken to snapping some shots every time I’m out and about in the last few days. Please enjoy these gratuitous shots of flatpack that DIDN’T get recycled. We want to be the difference. We want to make enough of a change so that we can prevent things like this from happening.
Hopefully nobody will feel the need to fly-tip any of our pieces. But we’re future-proofing it so that it’s not just durable and long lasting, but it will eventually be able to go back to the earth as if it never left. No screws or panel pins. No bonded materials*. No plastic components. Nothing but wood and physics.
